Jan. 01, 1962 - Transport Strikes Bring Chaos for a Million London Workers More than a million workers in London were affected this morning by strikes called by underground, railway and bus workers. The tube men are striking in protest against the handling of pay claim and many other transport workers are striking in sympathy.
