Feb. 02, 1962 - The New 110 M.P.H. Rover - Gas Turbine Car. May be world's first Jet Production Car.: This is the first picture of the new T4 - the 100 m.p.h. car, powered by a gas turbine jet years of research. This car will be on show at the Nine Day New York Motor Show which opens on April 21st. The T4 is an easy-to-handle four or five seater, with independent suspension, and with disc brakes on all wheels. The company has managed to cut kerosene fuel consumption to 20 m.p.g. - it has vastly improved acceleration - and is much quieter than its forerunners. It is believed that this car could be the first Production jet car
