Not a car in sight- at the Parking Meters: The Expended No Parking Pink Zone comes into force today- in readiness for the opening of the Christmas as shopping rush. It was noticed that the official parking meters were practically deserted - and it appeared that the people normally using them - were making full use of the free making areas - designed for use by Christmas shoppers.
