Nov. 11, 1962 - The Annual London to Brighton Veteran Car run: Two hundred and fifty veteran cars today took part in the annual Royal Automobile Club annual run from London to Brighton. It is the 66th anniversary of the original run which marked the freedom of the motorist. The cars - all built before 1905 - started from Hyde Park early this morning. P.H. Turvey driving his 1903 De Dion Bouton over Westminster Bridge followed by Mr. S. Gibson driving his 1903 Oldsmobile with Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament as a background setting for the veteran cars
