Jul. 07, 1966 - Austin Seven Rally At Beaulieu: Austin Seven cars converged yesterday on Lord Montagu motor museum at Beaulieu, Hants, for a rally organised by the Seven Fifty Motor Club. There was probably about 250, 000 Austin Sevens made all told, of different types, between 1922 and 1939. Maybe there are 1000 left, some still serving district nurses in the Cetswolds, or ferrying the colonel and his lady to the club. But there are 400 known models extant, all registered with the Seven Fifty Motor Club, and most of them turned up at the rally. Photo shows 18-year old Nicky Jackson, of Hampstead, tackling a minor repair on her Austin Seven (1928). Giving a helping hand is her father, Mr. Errel Jackson. Nicky has had the car for 18 months and maintains it herself
