Jun. 06, 1963 - Henry Ford takes his Chiefs round the factories: Henry Ford Ii who has come to Britian with 15 of the Directors of the American company, spent an energetic day yesterday. The party left Tower Pier in London on a chartered launch, sailed the 17 miles down the Thames to the Dagenham factory, then they visited the factory at Aveley and then on to Basildon in Essex. The party then travelled the Southend Airport from where they flew to Liverpool to see the new Halewood factory, they later flew on to Brussles, the Headquarters of Ford International. Photo shows Henry Ford II (in light coat) leaved Tower Pier for Dagenham with his fellow directors
