Oct. 10, 1965 - Hannibal 8 - The Car With Many Extras Including Extending 8-Ft, legs And A Cannon: This strange vehicle was seen in London yesterday called Hannibal 8 - the car that can get up and go-has many extras, including extending 8-ft, legs, brass cannon and snow melting equipment. This vehicle, custom built in Hollywood, was made specially for the film The Great Race i which Jack lemmon drives it in a race from America to Paris. It cost Warner Bors.8, 000 to build. Yesterday Britain's racing driver, Graham Hill was testing it in London in readiness for next Thursday when he will drive it to the film's West End premiere, in aid of the National Society for mentally Handicapped children.
