1967 - A City-Car with Electro-Hydraulic Power..has been developed in the institution motor vechiles at the Berlin Technical University. the low and exemption of exhaust has make the elctro-power especially suitable for town vechiles, Opposite to a common use and a series-prodution mainly stands tghe great weight of the motor and the batteries respectivaly the fuel cells. The developments of the TU-instutution over come4 these difficulties by a combination of the electro-moyor with a hydraustatic power-transmission. The electronic continuous power of five H.P. renders possible a pseed of 60 km/h. In order to reach an acceleration-behavior accomadated to the modren traffic they plan a gas-nib which is tensioned in standing by the work of braking ot the electro-motor. By this there us at disposal in the acceleration tiome a maximum effects which gives to the car - 600 kg of wioght - good acceleration values. Beside this is obrained back the enrgy which is today still lost when braking. Photo Shows The vehicle in a trial rub
