May 05, 1967 - A car with synthetic chassis.. was in introduced by the colourmanufactorer Bayer at the Hannover Fair 1967. It is a contribution for the break-through for synthetic chassis, that we have been waiting for for many years. The new construction is called self-carrying ground section of synthetic'. It consists of a hull strengthened by glassfibres made of synthetics, which are strengthened by hard polyurethan. The weight of the unwrapped prototypes was said to be 170 kilos.
