Nov. 22, 1966 - ?Unexploded Bomb? scare in the city ? Police closed a city crossroads today and diverted traffic and pedestrians when a suspected unexploded bomb was discovered by workmen deep below the roadway, at the junction where Aldergate Street crosses between Barbican and Long Lane, and a bomb disposal unit was called. But the ?bomb? turned out to be either water main or a gas main. Keystone Photo Shows: Traffic piled up in Farringdon Road as a result of the diversion caused by the ?unexploded bomb? H/Keystone
