Mar. 03, 1967 - XL90 is a Triumph of Imagination A new car on view in showrooms, the Triumph XL190. But no one can buy it not even for the, 000 it would cost. Mr. Harry Webster, Standard Triumph director of engineering said yesterday: Ir is just a dream car, a figment of the imagination. But it may be the kind of Triumph we will drive one day'. The model is four seater, four door with advanced aerodynamic styling. The six cylinder, two liter engine is sealed and is examined only once every 10, 000 miles. Top speed 120 m.p.h. accelerated 0 to 60 m.p.h. in six seconds. The car would have built in automatic fog guidance and radar would pick up other vehicles and apply the brakes automatically to maintain safe distance
