Aug. 08, 1959 - Introducing the First British GO-Cart'..The Poor Man's miniature racing car.: The Trojan Car Company has produced what is called the TroKart - Britain's answer to the popular American Go-Cart - the Poor Man's racing car. It is rather like an over-grown roller skate- is fitted with a 98 cc engine - and has a speed of about 20 m.p.h - with all the thrills - of a full-sized racing car. It is expected that the new baby racing car will sell for about100, or for possibly50 as a Do-It Yourself outfit. The car has been introduced by Mr. Peter Agg, managing-director of the Trojan Company. It has only two pedal controls-brake and accelerator, plus ignition switch. It has no gears - no clutch - no springs and the bodywork is simply a tubular frame. Photo shows twenty four year old NORMA BERRAGE complete with skid-lid tries out the new miniature racing car
