Cardinal Lienart, Bishop of Lille, receives Legion d'Honneur

Jan. 13, 1962 - Cardinal Lienart, the bishop in Lille, and the oldest member of the Assembly of Cardinals and Archbishops in France, received the decorations of an officer in the Legion of Honour from President de Gaulle this morning at the Elysee Palace. After the ceremony, President de Gaulle hosted a lunch in the Cardinal's honour. Cardinal Lienart is pictured leaving the Elysee Palace after the lunch
