Carmela Corren with sculpted head by Joachim Schmettau

Jul. 06, 1967 - The Head with a Cap, a sculpture of Berlin sculptor Joachim Schmettau, really impressed Carmela Corren on her tour through the Great Berlin Art Exhibition. The exhibition is open until July 23. The beloved artist, who both sings and acts, wants to get back into show-business after a one-and-a-half year forced break - she became the happy mother of a son. She began today with a four day guest starring role in Berlin; next she will stand before the camera in Munich for the television series Das Kriminalmuseum or The Criminal Museum
