Carol singing at Smithfield Market, London

Feb. 26 Carol Singing At Smithfield. Fifty children from The Gatehouse School, Dallington St. E.C. spent an hour singing Christmas Carols in Smithfield Market in aid of The Migraine Trust, Queen Square. This festive occasion coincides with Smithfield Week. Last year, the first occasion on which carols had been sung at Smithfield the children raised more than £70 for the Migraine Trust, which raises money for research into the causes and the cure of migraine. Some of the children wore costumes in which they appear in their Christmas Nativity play.
