The Draw is being to find who will receive prises totaling £969, 750 - which includes 90 valued at £1, 000 each. Mr. Ernest Marpies the Postmaster general pressed the button which set the machine in motion - and the first number was displayed by Lord Mackintosh - savings Chief two minutes later, at Lytham St. Annes.
