1967 - Pop star Marianne Faithfull rehearses for her first straight acting role.: Pop star, Marianne Faithfull will play the part of one of the sisters in Chekhov's play Three Sisters, which opens at the Royal Court theatre on April 18th. The other two sisters will be played by actresses Avril Elgar and Glenda Jackson. This will be Marianne's first straight acting role - she has always wanted to be an actress.
