Jun. 06, 1953 - Dozens Of Causalties As Crowds Break Past Troops To Greet The Queen: Thousands of Men, women and Children surged forward to greet Queen Elizabeth II when she arrived in Glasgow on the third day of their state visit to Scotland. The crowd swept through police, a massed Pipe Band and distinguished guests waiting to welcome the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
