Dec. 15, 1953 - The Miracle of the Madonna Painting.: In a modest little room at Piana degli Albanesi, Palermo (Sicily) hangs a paintings of the Madonna, by Beito, which has become the center of pilgrimage by local inhabitants. It is said that the finger shown in the painting and the eyes of the Madonna started to move, and was first noticed by one of the daughters of the farmer who owns the House.
