1968 - Who called them the weaker sex? 24-year old Connie Tilton of Leicestershire is rated as the top Tough Girl of British films. She has never refused to do a stunt, no matter how dangerous, provided she was satisfied with the fee offered. According to Connie, there is no future in the stunt business, and if she didn work in other branches of the business she wouldn be able to make a living. When there is a lull in the film work, Connie tours with her own variety act, play principal boy in pantomime or joins an aqua show. But she prefers to play the dangerous roles of stunt artist.
