Nov. 11, 1954 - First Over the North pole Air service starts machine arrives in Copenhagen: Many well known personalities were on board the Royal Viking airliner when she landed in Copenhagen yesterday at the end of the first over the north pole service flight journey. At the same time another machine flew in the opposite direction from Copenhagen to Los Angeles. Included in the arrivals at Copenhagen were Mr. Charles Marshall former Marshall Aid Administrator the Lord Mayor of Los Angeles screen stars Walter Pidgeon and Jean Hersholt journalists and reporters.
