Apr. 18 North Pole-6 Drifting Scientific Station.: The Staff of the North Pole-6 Drifting Scientific Station, which was set up by the Soviet, is conducting weather observations, studying the upper layers of the atmosphere and making hydrological investigation - the results of which observations are daily communicated to the mainland by radio. During the first four months of being set up, the ice-floe on which the station is situated covered over 340 kilometers in a broken line. In a straight line the distance is about 75 kilometers. The bearings of the station are 74033 Northern Latitude and about 182 Eastern Longitude. Photo shows Radio operators I. Titovsky and N.
