Feb. 02, 1956 - Suspect Greek-Cypriot is married. Church guarded by troops: Andreas Joannides (26) who is being held in a detention camp on suspicion of being a terrorists was released to marry 20 year old Zoulla Joannidou at a village church near Nicosia. The groom was allowed two hours freedom for the ceremony and was released from his handcuffs outside the Church. British troops with sten guns stood on guard.
