World Championship on the rope Richard Schneider, an artist spent 174 hours on the rope. He slept there, took his meals and shaved himself. He is now the new world champion of Duration rope-sitting. Schneider was only allowed to leave the rope for ten minutes daily. Keystone picture 25-2-1956
