Jan. 19, 1956 - Seven Year Old Copenhagen Boy Leads The King's Guard'. Wears Miniature Uniform.: Seven year old Copenhagen boy Michael Jessen had a special treat when he marched through the streets of Danish Capital at the head of the King's Guard. He has admired the guard for as long as he can remember - and his chief Christmas present this year was a miniature uniform replica of that worn by the Royal Guard. As as special treat his mother applied for permission for him to walk through the streets at the head of the famous Guard. Permission was granted although the lad was not allowed to take Part in the Palace ceremonies. Photo shows Young friends look on as Michael Jessen salutes the guard in true military style - during the Palace ceremonies in which he was not allowed to join
