Nov. 11, 1957 - The Leonarde-Day was again this year a magnificent costume-festival in Bad Toelz, Thousands had arrived to witness the Leonardi-Trip on November 6, 1957 in the Upper-Bavarian resort town of Bad Toelz. A large procession of costume-groups on horse back and in old fashioned horse-cars went to the Calvary-Hill where mas was held and the horses blessed. Photo shows the town priest of Bad Toelz blessing one of the village boys on horse-back, who rode up in his beautifully adorned costume. More than 20000 persons had arrived in order to participate in this celebration, which took place in marvelous sunshine
