Aug. 08, 1959 - Prime Minister Bandaranaike's New Anti-Communist Government Sworn-In In Colombo.: Prime Minister Soleman Dias Bandaranaike's new anti-communist and anti-capitalist rightist Cabinet formed after the recent defection of the Marxist Group from the People's United Front Coalition Government was sworn- in at Queen's House, Colombo recently. With the break down of the Coalition only the Prime Minister's Sri Lanka Freedom Party members and a few independents remain in the Government.
