Sep. 09, 1959 - Oder-Neisse-Border is Stateborder': 20 years ago, on the 1st Sept. 1939, Poland was invaded by Hitler's SS. When the Russians set Poland free there was drawn a provisional border in 1945 between Germany and Poland; the German Democratic Republic and Poland made a stateborder of that. Photo shows was taken in Aug. 1959 at the Neisse near Gorlitz (GORLITZ). The sign in front is on german ground; the house on the other side of the river Neisse belongs already to Poland
