Feb. 29 A FAMILY GAME OF MARES AND GOOD ACTS Exchanged parts? - no, this family is just practising democracy on a small scale. Marianne and Rudolf ARNOLD (our picture) and their three daughters have been living since the beginning of this year after the psychologically-educationally well constructed marks-calendar. Marks are given for three departments. the following of the collective fixed family rules, the gaining of personal ends and the making of good act. Each member of the family gives himself either a laughing or a crying mark each day. The agreed premiums are only of ideal value. The marks-calendar has been tested for months in families, echools kindergartens and has proved to be an ideal help in all sorts of human communities. It has been developed by Valerie Pauling and can be obtained in book shops in West-Germany
