Mar. 27 The world's first Major wind energy Mill completed: The first wind mill of the world, which is used for the production of electricity, has now been completed (picture). With mighty blades, that measure 125 feet in diameter, the mill produces 100 kilowatts of electricity in an 18 mph wind. The prototype has been built for the US Energy Research and Development Administration near Sandusky/Chio. It is planned that such wind mills will reduce the country's dependence on the dwindling energy sources
