Mar. 31 In the predominantly Buddhist island of Ceylon, 86 percent of the twelve million population being Buddhists, there is unprecedented accord, amity and understanding between the Buddhists and the minority religionists. The picture of Buddhist Monk Sanghatissa and Cardinal Thomas Corray, Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church in Ceylon was taken July 23 during a unique religous ceremony. The occasion opening of a Welfare Home for delinquents. Monk Sanghatissa first held a Buddhist ceremony for the Buddhist children, while Cardinal Cooray in full vestments recited High Mass in the same premises for the Christian children, each attending the other's ceremony
