Mar. 27 May 21st: Start Of Proceedings Against Leading Members of Baader/Meinhof Group In Stuttgart: On May 21st, 1975, the proceeding against members of the Baader-Meinhof group will start in Stuttgart. About 500 witnesses and expert witnesses will be heard during his trial which will take between 6 and 18 months. The defendants, Ulrine Meinhof (journalist 40) Andreas Baader (31), Gudrun Ensslin (teacher 31) and Jan-Carl Raspe (aociologoist, 30) are accused of having killed 4 persons and the attempted killing of of 54 persons by several bomb attempts throughout West-Germany, as well as of several bank robberies and the formation of a criminal association.
