Feb. 29 Willy Schwalbe And His Collection Of Miner's Lamps Send everybody about his business': can Willy Schwalbe (Willy Schwalbe) from Wattenscheid/West Germany, because for this he is equipped. This man, 84 years old, is owner of one of the largest private collection of miner's (safety) lamps in the Federal Republic of Germany. Beginning by the pine torch via the open carbide lamp and other special lights for miners to the safety- and new electric head lamp, - everything is to find in his museum'. But in the meantime Willy and Gertrud Schwalbe (in our picture) are also sending lamps - copies of the originals made by iron and brass - to collectors and fans all over the world
