Apr. 18 Suicides of Baader - Meinhof prisoners after the deliverance of the Lufthansa hostages: After in Mogadischu/Somalia the special unit of the Federal frontier defence (GSG-9) in the night of October 18th rescued the Lufthansa-jet Boeing 737, which was kidnapped on October 13th, in the prison of Stuttgart Stammheim (FRG) Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin and Jan Carl Raspe took their own lifes. They should be released by the kidnapping of the Lufthansa-jet (and Hanns Martin Schleyer). The suicidal attempt of Irmgard Moeller, also a member of the Baader Meinhof gang, failed. Seriously wounded she was transported with a helicopter (our picture) in a hospital and meanwhile she is out of mortal danger
