Mar. 02 Wasp sting cure deaf man An extraordinary case of a man who has been deaf for 40 years and was cured after being stung in the left ear and in the hands by a swarm of wasps was reported from Alesme, a small village in central France. The man, Charles Lecousy, a farmer, struck a wasps nest while clearing up bad grass on the edge of the road. Badly stung by angry insects he went back home and soon after realized that he could hear again. The doctor of the village has written a report on that extraordinary case.
