Mar. 03, 1960 - We don't want your baby - says American couple, give-away arrangement canceled; Mrs.Yvonne Moore of Luton - had made arrangements to travel to the United States in order to give birth to her baby - which she intended to give to Mr. and Mrs. Prescott of South Carolina as she did not want the baby. The news of the intended give away created much controversy on both sides of the Atlantic. Last night Mrs. Moore received a telephone call from Mrs. Prescott telling her that the arrangement was off - owing to public criticism of the plan.
