Oct. 06, 1960 - Opening Of The Electron Microscopy Unit At St. Thomas Hospital The new Electron Microscopy Unit was opened at St Thomas Hospital, the first of its kind, was opened today by Lord Astor of Hever. This unit which cost over12, 000, has been provided by the Empire Rheumatism Council to advance research into Rheumatism.
