Oct. 10, 1960 - Preview of the process against former Turkish leaders: On Oct, 14th, the trial will begin against the former Turkish Prime Minister Menderes and other Members of his regime which was deposed by the military riot on May 27th, 1960. the a first photo which could be made on the Island where the accused former politicians are imprisoned, were now.sold by auction in Istanbul. Totally 31, 000 Dollars were paid for the 274 available photos. Here is one of the photos. It shows former President of State Bayar (BAYAR) in Front of the inquiring court. (Bayar is seen on left)
