The girl is waitress Pauline Macgee, who walked into a corner's court yesterday to point out that she was still alive-despite an inquest verdiot on her afrontnight ago. 28 - year-old Pauline was told by the Southwark corner, Mr. Gordon Bavis that she must remain a ghost until the high court can quash the inquest verdict. Said 42-year-old Mr. Wood this week I don't see how I can with this awful mix-up. The mix-up began when Pauline's former boy friend, Ron Burgess, saw the body of a woman drowned in the river Themes and identified her positively as Pauline. The coroner said the open verdict recorded on Pauline could be altered only by permission of the Attorney - General and then by approaching the high Court.
