Sep. 09, 1962 - General Committee Recommends Allocation Of 92 Items To Plenary or Committees: The General committee, which yesterday decided to recommend inclusion of 93 items in the agenda for the seventeenth session of the General assembly, this afternoon completed its work by recommending allocation of the items to assembly plenary meetings or to the seven Main committees. The number of items recommended dropped to 92 today when the committee voted to recommend merger of two of the items - one of the report of the United Nations Commission for the Unification and Rehabilitation of Korea and the other the soviet-proposed item entitled The Withdrawal of foreign troops from Korea. Here is a general view of the conference chamber during the meeting as representatives voted on a Greek proposal - approved by a vote of 12 in favor to 3 against, with 6 abstentions - under which the two items would become sub-items under a heading of The Korean Question
