1963 - Silver Removal: One of the World's most valuable silver collections. Valued at over £1, 000, 000 was moved across London's West End in a furniture lorry yesterday from the Pall Mall Safe Deposit to Bond Street where international collectors will be able to view the collections and make bids for the pieces. Yesterday's move was made under strict police supervision, a Police car led the lorry and another followed it, and armed guards and uniformed and plain clothes Police were positioned along the route.
