Nov. 11, 1960 - Trials Of Former Turkish Leaders Begin Today: The trials begin today on the island of Yessiada of leading members of the former regime in Turkey. The principal accused Ex-President Bayer, Mr. Menderes, the former Prime Minister, and Mr. Zorlu, ex-Foreign Minister. A large number of Democratic members of the last Parliament, are also trial.
