Catering students at SELTEC, SE London
Mar. 05, 1953 - The Change of a lifetime for Seven girls.: Seven London girls are practising hard in the catering department of the South-East London Technical College, Deptford, to serve the Queen's guests. They have been told that they may be given the chace to help in the serving when the Queen gives a banquet to M.P.'s at the House of Commons in May. The girls, in the advanced catering class, have just completed three weeks work in the House of Commons kitchen and they were so helpful that they were told they may be invited back to help on the banquet.
