Mar. 31 The Much talked about - released from censorship - play The Rose Tattoo': The much-talked-about Tennessee Williams play The Rose Tattoo now released from the censorship run, will be seen in London after all, when it comes to the New Theatre on January 15th, The principals include Lea Padovani, the Italian star of stage, screen and television making her London debut as Seraphina; Sam Wanamaker as Alvara Mangiacavallo, her lover; Catherine Feller, the 19-year-old actress-without-nationality, who plays daughter Rosa, a pasionate girl of 15; and John Bown, as Rosa's sailor boy'.
