1955 - Catholics March In Antwerp Parade, Ends Two Weeks Easter Truce: More than 20, 000 Catholics marched through the streets of Antwerp, Belgium, yesterday in Protest against the Socialist-Liberal Government's reform bill. This mass demonstration ended the two weeks truce over Easter - a situation which erupted into riots in Brussels on March 26th and in which 90 people were injured and 1, 500 arrested.
