Celebration of Metal Workers in Cuba

Oct. 10, 1967 - Havana, Cuba - Major FIDEL CASTRO, Prime minister of the Cuban Government and first Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee, addressed the metallurgic workers, during a congratulatory event held in their honor, for having built 800 heavy harrows, in the unbelievable short period of twenty-three days. The Cuban Prime Minister said this extraordinary effort was only possible because of two things: The revolutionary spirit of our metallurgic workers and by the methods employed'. The event was held at the Cuban steel Mill in Havana
