Ceremonial swords to be used in Coronation, London

Jan. 01, 1953 - Two Thousand Ceremonial Swords For The Coronation. Yeoman Warders Partizans'. Orders for over 2, 000 ceremonial swords have been placed with the Wilkinson Sword Company, Acton, in readiness for the Coronation. They are mainly for officers of the Household Cavalry and the Yeomen of the Guard - but many orders have been received from overseas. The present demand is for about 100 a week. Photo Shows Mr Brookman with an armful of ceremonial swords (RAF), which will be used during the forthcoming Coronation
