Ceremonial swords to be used in Coronation, London
Jan. 01, 1953 - Two thousand ceremonial swords for Coronation. Orders for over 2, 000 ceremonial swords have been placed with the Wilkinson Sword Company, Acton, West London, in readiness for the Coronation. They are mainly for officers of the Household Cavalry and the Yeomen of the Guard, but many orders have been reveived from overseas. The present demand is for about 100 a week.
