Champion loses world title
Jun 07, 1974; Tokyo, Japan; U.S. challenger OSCAR ALBARADO (L), knocked out WBA junior middleweight champion Koichi Wajima of Japan in the 15th round of their world titled match at Nihon University Auditorium in Tokyo. Wajima had successfully defended his title six times. In the last round Albarado floored Wajima three times. In the picture, referee YUSAKA YOSHIDA (C), sends Albarado to his corner as Wajima drops to the canvas on one knee in the last round of 15. K. WAJIMA (R) was then sent to the canvas again for the full count knock out
