Charles Bronson and Claudia Cardinale working on film

1968 - Director Sergio Leone's multi million dollar production. Once Upon a time in the West, the biggest Western attempted in the last 20 years, goes before the technicolor and widescreen camera, at Cinecitta studios, starring Henry Fonda, Claudia Cardinale, Jason Robards and Charles Bronson, the story is one of greed, violence and vengeance during the building of the railroads across the West, when ruthless men terrorised and killed settlers to acquire land that would border the new railroad. The threads of two stories run through the film, the greed of Fonda to acquire a settler's valuable land and the effect this has on all the protagonists, and the stalking of Fonda by Bronson throughout the entire story to avenge the killing of his brother.
